Financial Reporting Specialist IFRS (m/f/d)

30–40 hours/week | 100 % Remote | Germany-wide

To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist IFRS (m/f/d) for the earliest possible start date, either part-time or full-time (30–40 hours/week). In this role, you will support our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS and work closely with our US parent company.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
  • Preparation and execution of IFRS reporting to the parent company in the USA
  • Creation and analysis of reporting packages and ensuring timely reporting
  • Support with year-end closing entries and closing activities
  • Collaboration in group-wide reporting and intercompany processes
  • Ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines and internal guidelines
  • Support in the establishment and integration of new business areas from a finance and reporting perspective
  • Contribution to the optimization and further development of financial processes and reporting structures
  • Collaboration with internal departments as well as external auditors and consultants

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed commercial training with further education as a balance sheet accountant (IHK) or completed studies with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling
  • Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an international group environment
  • Very good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and good knowledge of HGB
  • Practical experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Experience in group reporting and in cooperation with international companies
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken, for daily communication with the US parent company
  • Proficient in ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Structured, independent, and timely way of working
  • High reliability and strong sense of responsibility

 Working Student Controlling E-Commerce (gn)

  

Responsibilities

  • You will support our team in daily operations related to Shopify and Zendesk.
  • You will assist us with supply chain topics and participate in the coordination and optimization of processes along the supply chain.
  • You will contribute to the further development and optimization of our webshop management.
  • You will support in processing and answering customer inquiries received via the webshop.

  • You will help evaluate data and derive insights for the further development of our e-commerce processes.

 

Profile

  • You impress with analytical thinking and a good understanding of complex interrelationships.
  • You are enrolled in a degree program in business administration or a comparable field of study and have completed your basic studies.
  • You already have initial practical experience in accounting/controlling.
  • You have solid basic knowledge of MS Excel and enjoy working with large amounts of data.
  • You work in a structured, reliable way and enjoy working in a team.
